Dragon Storm is a 2004 movie, where several drain eggs land and hatch on Earth during the medieval time. After hatching, the dragons attack a village, where a villager survives and tells his corrupt king about the attack. This he doesn't believe until his cattle is attacked.
While fleeing from the dragons the corrupt king heads of to a neighbouring kingdom, the corrupt king ends up being guided by a huntsman, who asks for his ring as payment. However this huntsman gets caught by the king of that lands' daughter and is town into jail. Where the corrupt king get his ring back and he tells him that he overheard the man planning on taking over that kingdom. However knowing that he would not be believed he let's him live.
Then the king of that land gives the huntsman a choice of either paying for his crimes or, set off to slay the dragons. This he chooses and with the help off the kings' alchemist binds together with a man from the East, a strong man, one of the kings soldiers, a woman with a vendetta against the dragons and one of the corrupt kings' soldiers with a mission to silence the huntsman...
After a few nights they slay them all but one as they lose lives along the way. Then one night, after the corrupt king threatens his wife, his solder is killed by the princess. Then the following day the kingdom gets taken over and the heroes kill the corrupt king and the final dragon. This ending the film.
Even though this film has its moments, it, by its sets, locations and props does look to be cheaply made and it's all to clear where the budget went, and it has good acting in, which makes the bad acting stock out like a sore thumb, is watchable. Is this film good? Honestly, no? Does this have good characters? Some. Did I like it? Yes.
I think that this film was let down by the run time and its predictable story but it was enjoyable. And it does have the potential to be something more than it was and it is the product of its time. But of you want to see for yourself, watch it and come to your own conclusions about the film and leave a comment below.
